Our Story

Armour Femme didn’t just happen overnight, it’s a reflection of my journey, my passions, and the many chapters that shaped who I am.

I was born in Guyana and moved to Canada at the age of six. From a young age, I loved all things girly, especially jewellery and anything pink. I had two Claire’s beaded sets I would proudly alternate every day, and by the time I was 15, I had three overflowing jewellery boxes. I wasn’t just playing dress-up, those pieces made me feel confident, expressive, and powerful. They were my armour. That love never left.

That inner child still lives in me. In many ways, Armour Femme is a safe space for her, for every woman who once played with sparkles and now shows up strong in the real world. Our brand is a celebration of femininity, softness, and strength, wrapped in pink and gold, and rooted in resilience.

Before studying law, I completed a diploma in Business Marketing and Administration. Entrepreneurship had always intrigued me, building something of my own, something with meaning. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I finally took the leap and officially launched Armour Femme, originally as a safety keychain brand. It was my first real step into the business world, and it taught me so much about resilience, creativity, and community.

As an international student in the UK, I went on to earn my law degree, balancing the intensity of legal studies with the dream of growing my own brand. After graduating, I returned to Canada to complete further qualifications, but life had a beautiful twist in store. I got married and moved back to the UK to start a new chapter, personally and professionally.

Through all these transitions, one thing stayed constant: my desire to create something that empowers women. Armour Femme was reborn, not just as a jewellery brand, but as a love letter to strong, multifaceted women everywhere.

As a proud Guyanese woman, representation and community are deeply important to me. I created Armour Femme for women who are defining life on their own terms, who embody both softness and strength, ambition and elegance. Our jewellery is designed to be timeless yet affordable, your daily ‘armour’ for life’s meetings, milestones, and everyday moments.

And because community matters, I launched The Charm Lounge, in-person events to bring women together, spark real connections, and share our stories face-to-face. I also believe in giving back. That’s why Armour Femme supports Freedom4Girls, an organization working to combat period poverty and uplift the dignity of women and girls.

This brand is my story - but more than that, it’s yours too. Armour Femme is more than jewellery. It’s a full-circle moment. It’s a love letter to the little girl who loved pink and the woman she became. For every woman who’s building, evolving, and showing up as her full self: this is your armour. Wear it boldly.
